Privacy Policy

  • Account information: email, nickname
  • Social login: social account identifier, profile image (optional)
  • Automatically collected: usage records, access logs, cookies

Author/work data on the Service is automatically collected by crawlers from publicly available platforms and contains no personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Service (accounts, follows, notifications)
  • To improve the Service (usage statistics analysis)
  • To communicate with you (verification emails, replies to your inquiries)

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by law (for example, for users in the EEA or the UK), we process your information on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract — providing the Service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests — improving and securing the Service
  • Consent — optional features; you may withdraw consent at any time
  • Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With infrastructure and service providers that process it on our behalf
  • With advertising partners as described in Section 8
  • When required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service
  • With your prior consent

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information until you delete your account. Upon account deletion:

  • Email, nickname, name, profile image: anonymized immediately
  • Social login linkage data: deleted immediately
  • Follow lists, notifications, 1:1 inquiries: deleted/anonymized immediately
  • Contribution and correction request history: retained in anonymized form (data integrity)

As the Service is operated from the Republic of Korea, some records are retained where required by Korean law: contract records (5 years), dispute handling records (3 years), visit records (3 months).

6. Your Rights

  • You may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of processing of, or portability of your personal information, and may object to its processing
  • You can delete your account directly in Settings > Delete account
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us (Section 11). We respond within the period required by applicable law

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are used to keep you signed in and provide personalized services. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings (some features may be limited).

8. Advertising

The Service may serve advertisements via Google AdSense, which may use cookies and identifiers to personalize ads.

9. International Data Transfers

The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea. Your information is processed and stored in the Republic of Korea, and may be processed in other countries through the infrastructure providers we use. We protect it consistently with this Policy wherever it is processed.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
